30 kilograms of explosives were seized by the Durres Police, arresting
four people while two others were on the run, suspected of being
involved in criminal traffic of explosives in Kruja. The local police
was also involved in this operation.
Meanwhile, some people have detonated a small amount of explosives at the Fushe Kruja police, causing only material damage.
The Durres Police declared that the anti-drug sector, in cooperation with the Prosecution of Serious Crimes in Tirana, had started an investigation against some persons who trafficked explosives in Kruja.
During the operation was arrested Dorjan Picorri, 28, born in Kruja and temporary resident in Tirana.
Some hours later were arrested Saimir Ajazi, Redi Ndreu and Erald Bami. The police did not give the identities of the two other suspects who are on the run.
From the investigation made so far, it seems that the members of this criminal group are suspected as possible authors of the explosion that took place last night in the Fushe Kruje precinct.
