Albania, Montenegro, Bosnie-Herzegovna and Croatia voted the “Understanding Memorandum” for the Trans Adriatic Project (TAP).
The agreement was signed by the Foreign Ministers of the four countries, and present in this ceremony was also The Albanian Prime Minister, Sali Berisha.
Berisha valued this agreement as an opportunity to develop the region, and that the decision will be taken next week.
“Our region has a real potential for the TAP project. A big decision will be taken next week in Aserbaijan by the Shah Deniz consortium, and TAP has all the chances to become a winning project. The memorandum that we signed today, in full understanding with the Italian and Greek governments, shows an excellent regional cooperation”, Berisha declared.
There are three projects competing, and two of them exclude Albania.
