The Environment Minsiter, Fatmir Mediu, attended a meeting with the
Commissioner for Environment at the European Council, Janez Patocnik,
and said that the environmental legal framework has suffered a radical
change with most of it approaching to the EU directives.
Mediu also mentioned the government’s support to the stable environmental development policies that defend biodiversity, the priorities given to fishing and the water resources.
The Environment Minister mentioned the projects for the forests and the reformation of the Environmental Inspectorate in Albania.
