The mayor of Tirana, Erjon Veliaj, said today that at the request of the family, he will propose to the Municipal Council to name “Klodian Rasha”, the street near the house of the deceased, where he was killed by a police officer during the late hours of coronavirus police isolation.
Mayor Veliaj made the comments during the visit to a reconstructed house in Kashar, saying that during the visit to the young man’s family, Klodian’s father, Qazimi, asked him to name the street near the house after his son.
Veliaj said that his father’s wish will go to the Tirana Municipal Council for a proposal next week.
