The new house of Albania’s national football team is starting to take shape, despite the many debates about its construction.

The Mayor of Tirana, Erion Veliaj, said that the stadium testifies the successful cooperation between the government and private enterprises, which makes it possible for the city to have a new stadium built without spending anything from the taxpayers’ money.

Famous Albanian artists, such as Alfred Trebicka, Armando Bora, Artan Imami, Laert Vasili, Monika Lubonja, Gazmend Paja, etc, responded to Veliaj’s invitation to visit the stadium.

The renowned Italian architect, Marco Casamonti, updated artists and actors with the great possibilities that this cooperation has created, starting with the realization of a modern construction for the Albanian sports fans. A similar collaboration is expected for the National Theater.

Mayor Veliaj thanked artists for accepting his invitation and said that Tirana and Albania will have one of the most modern stadiums in Europe.

Veliaj underlined that these big projects, impossible to be realized with public funds, will be finished within a very short time.

Actor Gazmend Paja, appreciating the size of the new stadium, said that the next time football starts will have to play in Albania, they will not raise eyebrows.
