Mayor of Tirana: “I will resign if playground will have cafe or restaurant”

“I will resign if the playground will have a park, cafe or restaurant.
But I don’t accept the language of violence”, said Mayor Erion Veliaj
after the accusations and protests of the Democratic Party.

Veliaj answered about the tax increase: “Taxes have increased only for the Block area. Public space doesn’t mean a place without an owner”, the Mayor said.

Veliaj gave these declarations during the presentation of the new Urban Plan of Tirana. Present in this activity was the Italian architect, Stefano Boeri.
