The agency that treats properties taken by the communist regime, say
that owners have a deadline to claim their lands. If they don’t file it
by May 23rd, they will lose the chance to do it again.
Sonila Qat, the Director of the Property Treatment Agency, said that all structures are engaged and will receive owners who will have to introduce only two documents, the geographic position on maps and a document that proves former ownership.
“Every verification and investigation will be made by the new agency, relieving owners from any burden of this type”, the Director said.
Qato said that they are reviewing 8600 cases that have remained unfinished for years.
