May 1st, Teachers’ Union protested in front of the Ministry of Education

The Teachers’ Union protested today on May 1st, asking the government to do more for protecting the image of teacher, and stopping the destruction that is being done to education.

They demand more dignifying salaries, better teaching conditions and fewer bureaucracies in schools.

The Minister of Education greeted the protest and said that the institution she leads has kept a constant dialogue with teachers. She also promised that the salary raise will be annual, starting with the April’s payment.
