Maritime agreement, RBA: Berisha to discuss with Samaras

The maritime border agreement between Albania and Greece will be a
discussion topic between the Albanian Prime Minister Sali Berisha and
his Greek Homologue, Antonis Samaras, in their meeting in Rome. This is
the information that the Red and Black Alliance says that it has
confirmed.

For this reason, one day before the meeting of the two Prime Ministers, who are invited in the Italian Demochristian International, this political force asked Berisha to be clear in its positions for the maritime border agreement by standing to our Constitutional Court.

“The Red and Black Alliance informs citizen Sali Berisha to not damage the decision of the Constitutional Court of the Albanian republic, and asks him to not repeat the same anti-national act for the same time, because they will face the harsh reaction of the Red and Black Alliance and the entire national opinion in Albania, Kosovo, Montenegro, Greece and throughout the world. No one can damage the land, the sea and the sky of our country, because they are a holy property of the Albanian nation”,d eclared Lisen Bashkurti, Secretary of the Foreign Relations.

RBA expressed its concern also for the declarations of the foreign Minsiter Avramopulos, who reported at the Foreign Commission of the Greek Parliament about the relations between the two countries. His declarations that Greece will stand to the first maritime agreement with Albania and that our country has increased the nationalistic tones by damaging the relations between the neighbors, for the RBA are an intervention in Albania’s interior affairs.
