43 Members of the Kosovo Parliament voted this Friday to allow an extraordinary session to vote for repealing the Special Court.
One day later, after receiving many critics from international partners, some of the MPs said that he had misunderstood the purpose of the initiative.
“The signatures were collected for another purpose. When I saw the US and British ambassadors, I understood that I was playing the game of someone who wanted to hit the independence of Kosovo and our friendship with the West”, he added.
The US and British ambassador gave alarming reactions. They called the effort as very shameful, an isolation of Kosovo that would endanger all the efforts in the rule of law and justice.
