The Minister of Justice, Ylli Manjani, met this Monday with Prosecutor
General, Adriatik Llalla, and other high-level Prosecutors.
Manjani asked the representatives of the Albanian Prosecution for more intensive investigation against the organized crime and corruption.
“It is indispensable to increase the number of investigations. We need to give crime a faster and deserved punishment”, Manjani said.
Fight against corruption is a priority, Manjani added, saying that Prosecutors should not fear investigations.
“We encourage a quick investigation for any insinuation or public accusation. Time when the executive government refuses to implement the Prosecution’s orders is now gone”, said the first person in charge of the Albanian justice.
