The Albanian Prime Minister and the Parliament Speaker, Ilir Meta,
presented Floriana Koka as their candidate for Mayor in Saranda.
Rama thanked the work of the current Mayor and declared that in 18 months, the central government in Tirana valued the urban development of the urban centers and a starting point of the social and economic development.
“The government in Tirana gives attention to the city centers, to the potentials that most of Albanian cities have and that have not been used for decades”, Rama declared.
Rama promised that the Ionnian coastline will have better water supply this summer, starting with Dhermi.
“We hav invested in projects and it is significant that after 1000 years, Dhermi will have running water 24/7 for the first time. This will be a reality throughout the entire coastline”, Rama declared.
Rama added that sewerage waters will not be thrown anymore in the sea, and added that the government has prepared the law to pass the competences of the aqueduct to local administration.
