The Commission of Laws passed the draft-law for the return and compensation of property.
The opposition said that the government draft aims to reduce the financial bill for former owners, and does not resolve the problem.
“This law will not last after political rotation. It will be removed immediately as soon as we come to power. This law damages the constitutional rights that have been earned and this government cannot take them back”, Bylykbashi declared.
The other Democratic Party MP, Eduard Halimi, reminded the Socialists the former Democratic Party government also tried to review this law, and he admitted it was a mistake.
“It seemed the most simple solution. It was a mistake. We ended up at the Constitutional Court and we lost”, Eduard Halimi said.
This law received support from the SMI. Petrit Vasili said the purpose of the law should be greeted, since it will resolve the property issue.
