The parliamentary groups of SP in power and opposition DP aftër proposing two resolutions on the situation in Kosovo, agreed today to cooperate in the unification of these two resolutions into a common one.
“It is good news anyway that we have reached a consensus to unite both positions and come up with a common resolution for the recent events in the north of Kosovo”, said the chairman of the SP Parliamentary Group, Bledi Çuçi.
The Albanian Parliament will be involved in a session with a motion from which a resolution on the situation in Kosovo will be discussed and approved.
Among other things, this 13-point resolution calls for the “condemnation of the armed terrorist attack in the north of the Republic of Kosovo and support for efforts to guarantee security and peace in the country and in the region”.
“It congratulates the security institutions of the Republic of Kosovo for their prudence and professionalism, as well as appreciates the forces of EULEX and KFOR for their readiness, cooperation and commitment in repelling criminal attacks and the escalation of the conflict in the north of Kosovo”, it says in resolution, which also asks Serbia to give up its hostile and warmongering attitudes and actions towards the Republic of Kosovo.
