Macedonia will hold local elections in 80 communes and in the capital, Skopje.
The Albanian Party, Democratic Union for Integration, announced Teuta Arifi as their candidate in Tetovo, who will receive support from Zaev’s Social Democratic Union; Visar Ganiu in Cair; Ramiz Merko in Struga, who will also receive support from the party of Zoran Zaev.
In exchange, the Albanian party will not have a candidate in Skopje, Kumanova, Ochrid and Manastir, where they will support the party led by Prime Minister Zaev.
VMRO-DPMNE appointed Tarcilovski in the Kisela Voda commune of Skopje, who was sentenced to eight years in prison by the Court of Hague for crimes against the Albanian population during the conflict of 2001.
