Macedonia, Zaev will not meet opposition leader

The Prime Minister of Macedonia, Zoran Zaev, will not meet with the opposition leader, Hristijan Mickoski, to discuss the Constitutional amends about the Prespa Agreement. This makes early elections even more possible.

After the referendum of this Sunday, the opposition leader said that the agreement with Greece is now dead.

The Macedonian majority has only 71 votes out of 80 that are needed for implementing the agreement. They need nine votes from the opposition for this to take place.

This is unlikely to happen, since the new leader of the biggest opposition party, Mickovski, seems to be following the same nationalist ideas planted by his predecessor, Gruevski.
