Macedonia, Zaev submits names of new government, Xhaferi holds session in Albanian

The leader of the Democratic Socialist Party of Macedonia, Zoran Zaev,
submitted at Parliament the list of the new government cabinet and
program. “The new government will focus on the country’s integration and
Euro-Atlantic structures”, he said.

“The Republic of Macedonia must progress and provide a better life to their citizens. Macedonai will be the country of everyone. We take full responsibility to implement all reforms that are part of the Perzhina agreement”, Zaev declared.

One of the priorities will be having equal regional development. The biggest reform, however, remains that of the judiciary.

The Parliament Speaker, Talat Xhaferri, started the parliamentary session in Albanian, which brought clashes with the VMRO-DPMNE. Xhaferi declared after this that until the law is approved for using both languages, the sessions will be held in Macedonian only.

The two Albanian political parties will lead seven ministries and one department without portfolio.
