Macedonia, VMRO blocks appointing of new Speaker

VMRO is not happy after Zaev’s LSDM signed an agreement with Ahmeti’s BDI, taking away Gruevski’s political power.

Petre Shillegov from the LSDM declared that the citizens saw today what political force wants a country under crisis, while VMRO claim they are protecting Macedonia’s interests.

Zijadin Sela, chairman of the Alliance for Albanians, said that these are just the final efforts of an outgoing power, a pretext to infuriate the masses.

There have been voices that the Besa Movement opposes the candidate of BDI for Parliament Speaker, Talat Xhaferi, and they might bring their own candidate.
