Macedonia, ready to involve foreign experts for Kumanova case

Media outlets in Macedonia quote the Minister of Justice, Bilent Salji, confirming that the government is ready to engage foreign experts with the purpose to make a complete clarification of the Kumanova case.
According to some legal experts in Macedonia, the investigation has not included everyone, especially functionaries of the past government, who ere thought to have ties with the suspects.
The French AMbassaor in Macedonia said that international investigation is possible, but justice should be sought first by local institutions.
The Prime Minister of Kosovo, Ramush Haradinaj, appealed this Friday for an international investigation after the court issued its sentence for 37 suspects, giving them 746 years in prison in total.
The court verdict caused protests in Prishtina, Peja and Gjilan. Protestes said the suspects were victims of a plot made by the former Macedonian government.
