After losing last elections and the recent local ones, Nikolla Gruevski, leader of the VMRO-DPMNE declared that regardless of his party’s analyze of the causes for the loss, he will resign from the party.
In an interview for “Kurir”, Gruevski, who has been accused of power abuse and corruption during the 11 years he led Macedonia, has been facing challenges even from within his party.
“I hope that my resignation will bring a better political climate for my party and for the country”, he declared.
