Macedonia, Gruevski reportedly admits VMRO is in opposition. Zaev meets Sela in hospital

Zoran Zaev visited in hospital Ziadin Sela, the leader of the PR-PDSH.
He said that Sela’s actions saved the lives of many others.

Sela had told Zaev that by moving away from the group, and closer to the protesters, he was hoping that everyone would be focusing on him, leaving others time to be saved.

Meanwhile, Macedonian media are reporting that the situation might be getting calmer. Some VMRO-DPMNE Parliament Members are thinking to go with the LSDM, which has created panic among Gruevski’s party. If this scenario takes place, the LSDM could have four new MPs, a very significant number for VMRO which would go down to 47.

Gruevski declared that his party will be in opposition. He asked his party members who hold administration posts to not create problems.

These claims were not confirmed officially. This Thursday, Parliament Speaker Talat Xhaferi informed President Gjorgje Ivanov about the new parliamentary formation and his election in Parliament. Xhaferi now expects the President to respect the Constitution. Otherwise, the new government will be created without his mandate.
