Diplomatic sources from Athens confirmed for Top Channel that there are
ongoing talks between for organizing the passage of 10.000 refugees.

Top Channel’s correspondent in Athens, Artur Bibe, confirmed this news in a live report on Top Channel’s Top Story.

Elona Gjebrea, the Deputy Minister of Interior present in the show, confirmed that the talks are in their initial phase.

“There is no agreement with Greece, but there are talks in an EU level”, Gjebrea said.

Macedonia decided to keep the borders for refugees closed, which forces Athens to distribute refugees in other neighboring countries. Some of the immigrants will be kept in Follorina, Kozani and Janina, close to the Albanian border.
