Teuta Arifi, vice leader of the biggest Albanian party in Macedonia,
Democratic Union for Integration (BDI), met today with representatives
of the LSDM (Social-Democratic League of Macedonia), led by Zaev.

Arifi didn’t give much details, but she said that despite the constructive talks, the final word will be said by the BDI leadership. “We will not give up making Albanian a second official language in Macedonia”, Arifi said.

The meeting was held in Skopje, one week after Gruevski’s party (VMRO-DPMNE) failed to form a government. After this, President Ivanov authorized the second biggest party that came out with most seats after the elections, Zaev’s LSDM, who now will be negotiating with the BDI.
