The Fier Police announced this Thursday that the Director of the Energy
Distribution System (OSHE) in Lushnje, Dine Aliaj, has been arrested.
Aliaj was arrested after it was found that he was stealing energy at his house and at his private cafe. Police say that the intervention was proven by economic crime specialists at the Fier Police.
Aliaj had also delayed the payment of 1.6 million ALL he owned to OSHE.
Aliaj will also be charged of power abuse. This is the second local director that is arrested in Lushnje, after the Education Director one week ago.
