The Lushnje Education Director, Liza Tabaku, asked 3000 to 5000 EUR for
hiring teachers in the state department or for not firing them. She had
help from her son in this activity, Xhanluka Bakiasi, and a third
person, Rigert Zeneli.

The three of them were arrested this Saturday by the Lushnje police, after an investigation that had been carried out for months.

Bakiasi and Zeneli were arrested while taking money from a teacher in exchange of not firing him. Investigations show that this money would be then handed over to the District Director of Education, Liza Tabaku.

Police found 12.000 EUR in her house in the Dushk village, and 80.000 ALL. When arrested she had 2000 EUR with her, which he tried to flush in the bathroom of the police department.

After investigating for several months, the police has found out that Tabaku offered to hire teachers in exchange of payment, using her son as intermediate.
