Lumalas airfield guarded by army

12/05/2014 00:00

Forgotten for 15 years, the Lumalas airfield has turned in the center of
attention, after the recent accusations about drug traffic.

The airfield is being supervised by the Armed Forces, while the army is placing concrete blocks to stop any landing.

The airfield is being guarded by the Regional Korce Defense Detachment. Soldiers are keeping it under watch and have not allowed any movement.

The placing of the concrete blocks will make it possible for not allowing any landing in this airfield.

The Lumalaks airfield has been abandoned since 1999, and has been completely forgotten by the state.
