The Congress of Albanian Language Scripting was held 45 years ago in Tirana, from November 20th to November 25th, 1972.
The vice leader of the Socialist Movement for Integration, Luan Rama, said that no one remembered this important date, while Albania needs a new congress of those proportions, to edit and add the developments that have taken place in our language.
“The Albania’s scientific authorities decided to kill this huge event of our culture, proving their ignorance, rather than admitting that we need a new patriotic initiative such as the Albanian Language Scripting Congress”, Rama writes.
He adds that this is a challenge that should make intellectuals understand the importance of fulfilling great challenges of national interest.
