Economic sensibility indicators, which measure the perception of
businesses and consumers for the economic situation and their
expectancies for the future deteriorated in the third trimester of this
year.
According to the Bank of Albania, compared to one trimester ago, the sensibility indicators dropped with 27%, as result of a lower trust from consumers. On the other hand, the trust in the construction and commerce sectors has increased, but it wasn’t enough to compensate the dropped trust in other sectors.
The trust indicator in the industry dropped with 2.5% after businesses decided their production and financial situation deteriorated. In parallel, businesses committed in the industrial activity have dropped the rate of producing capacities with 2.9%. The trust balance dropped with 2.7% in the service sector, while in trade it increased with 3.1% and 5.7%.
Consumers more than businesses have given a negative perception of the economic sensibility. According to the Bank of Albania, consumers’ trust dropped with 3.9% in the third trimester, dictated by the deterioration of their expectancies for the future.
