Acoustic noise pollution and loud music of the bars remains problematic in the summer season in the coastal areas of Albania, as the authorities announce the measures and sanctions taken to eliminate the phenomenon that damages the tourist season and the peace of vacationers.
Officials say that numerous checks have been carried out, as a result of which illegality has been found in three entities in the southern coastal areas of Ksamil and Saranda.
The 3 managers of the subjects who disturbed the public peace by playing loud music after the permitted hours are being prosecuted, while the devices that generate the music have been seized.
The police said that in Saranda, intensive checks are continuing throughout the district to prevent the noise disturbance of citizens and vacationers, from the acoustic pollution that comes as a result of loud music in bars and entertainment venues.
The State Police appeals to all administrators and owners of premises and hotels, to strictly implement the law and the rules provided for noise pollution, since in case of detection of illegalities the Police services will sanction according to the law the citizens responsible and will seize the devices that generate music.
