The Albanian opposition leader, Edi Rama, sent a letter to the Prime
Minister of Austria, Werner Fayman, regarding the National Lottery
license given by the allegedly fixed tender that gave it to the Austrian
company “Austrian Lottery”.
Rama explains in his letter that its goal is to serve to the transparency that he and his party aim in order to develop business in a friendly environment, by valuing the contribution of the Austrian businesses in our country.
Rama informs the Austrian Prime Minister that the license that was given by the Albanian government to the Austrian Company is clearly manipulated and against any public interest. After valuing the work of the Austrian Lottery in serving the national interests of Austria, Rama underlines that this company has not implemented similar standards for Albania.
“The Socialist Party and I personally are looking to take all legal steps for investigating the entire process of the fixed tender in order to repair the damages made to the Albanian public by this irresponsible act”.
Rama presented to the Austrian Prime Minister the Socialist Party appeal for this company to retire from the process that is not transparent and goes against the interests of the Albanian state and public, against all rules and standards with which this company operates in Austria.
