The little political hatred of the Prime Minister of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, towards the Albanian counterpart Rama, is taking dimensions that no one would want, as the Kosovo police were reported today be obstructing the movement of goods trucks between the two countries.
Trucks with Kosovo license plates were waiting for over four hours for a stamp at the border, which they normally buy with cash payments.
The drivers said that they have been waiting for hours to cross from Albania to Kosovo, while they are spending more time than usual at the custom counters.
“I have 4 hours, we only have to get one stamp. My friends have 7 hours, this happened 20 years ago and is happening again now,” said one of the drivers.
Another driver added: “There is no physical check here, it’s just the stamp to get, it’s very hot”.
