Local elections, Rama held endless meetings with Socialist Party MPs.

Prime Minister Edi Rama organized during the late hours of afternoon
endless meetings with the socialist MPs according to the counties, part
of the selection of the candidates for the local elections.

The last ones meeting Rama were Tirana MPs, discussing with the head of SP the names of the candidates for the mayor of the capital.

At the moment it’s unknown which are the names proposed by the MPs, but after contacting them they have different considerations for the candidate that will represent Tirana.

After the meeting MP Fatmir Xhafaj declared: “The process of selecting the candidates is very important and for that will be taken into consideration all the possible factors. The criteria is an internal issue of the party”.

According to the confidential sources they have different thoughts for Erjon Veliaj, Pandeli Majko and Blendi Klosi for Tirana. Regardless to the propositions, it’s up to Prime Minister Rama to decide.
