The Albanian Interior Minister, Sander Lleshaj, said for DW that the audio recordings published by the German newspaper “Bild” will not damage Albania’s image in the international arena.
“Albania is bigger than a specific audio recording of a specific case. Of course, such news is not positive, but this case is under investigation. This is an unauthorized leak of an ongoing process and we must wait for the finalization”, Lleshaj declared.
When asked if there is something else that could incriminate politics, Lleshaj said that what was published is part of an undergoing case, and the audio recordings are not evidence, just leads.
