The Coach of the Albanian National Football team, Gianni de Biasi,
announced the 23 players that will be part of the team that will
represent our country in France Euro 2016.
The suspense until the announcement was made was similar to reality show finals, but it is understandable that it has not been easy for Gianni de Biasi himself.
Gjimishti’s exclusion might have raised some eyebrows, while Frederik Veseli seems to have won a place.
The player of Vitesses in Netherlands, Milot Rashica, was also left out, and now the team has only midfielders but no forwards.
The attackers remain the same, Cikalleshi, Balaj, Sadiku and Gashi.
De Biasi simply announced the list of players and gave no comments:
Goal keepers: Etrit Berisha, Alban Hoxha, Orges Shehi.
Defenders: Arlind Ajeti, Nasër Aliji, Mergim Mavraj, Lorik Cana, Elseid Hysaj, Frederik Veseli
Midfielders: Ansi Agolli, Ledian Memushaj, Ergys Kaçe, Andi Lila, Migjen Basha, Odise Roshi, Ermir Lenjani, Taulant Xhaka, Amir Abrashi, Burim Kukeli.
Forward: Bekim Balaj, Sokol Cikalleshi, Armando Sadiku, Shkëlzen Gashi.
