Licuado is a famous artist not only in Uruguay, but also in other countries, from Belgium to New Delhi, thanks to the huge mural paintings he realized.
He has arrived in Tirana as well, working with an apartment building near the Dinamo Stadium.
“I used to work as a photograph. Seven years ago I started painting. It was a great start, because I used to take pictures of famous characters. This made me paint portraits on walls”, Licuado said.
Licuado comes to Tirana as part of the MurAl Fest, an initiative of the Tirana Municipality.
“We made an appeal for local artists, which attracted even world renowned ones. This is good for the city, a promotion that goes beyond our borders”, said Henri Cule, Director of the Décor Department at the Tirana Municipality.
