Roma community in Lezhe protested today for not receiving social
assistance payments. They requested to not be discriminated, since many
families of this community live thanks to this economic assistance.
The protest was supported by many members of the Roma and Egyptian community in Lezhe, who are mainly located at the “Skenderbeg” neighborhood.
The economic assistance has not been distributed for two months, due to the local elections and the constitution of the local councils.
