“Let’s build Europe in Albania”

Rama declared that the European integration is the biggest goal of Albania, and the Albanian government sees it as the construction process of Europe within Albania.

“The European integration is for countries like Albania more important than membership, because it is the only instrument for real modernization and real change. For our government, the European Union path is a path towards prosperity, peace, freedom and dignity. I hope that Albania will continue its internal development and transformation path, and that Austria will keep supporting us, being closer to us and push us towards the right decision, by helping us in the directions where we need a faster pace”, Rama declared.

Besides the integrating processes, Rama underlined that the revival of Albania’s image is another challenge.

“We have a lot to offer, but we also know that we have a lot to change. We have to change the negative perception and we will do our best to make it”, Rama declared.

The Prime Minister also spoke about the strong efforts of the government for formalizing the informal economy sectors, for the reform of the taxation system, for ensuring an economic growth which is based on social justice, and the radical reforms in various sectors of economy.
