Albanians and foreigners have been conducting a campaign to protect the Vjosa River in Albania.
This campaign has attracted the attention of international media and other well-known personalities, including Leonardo DiCaprio, an Academic Award Winner.
He posted an Associated Press video on his Instagram page, followed by 37 million people, reacting against the decision of the Albanian government to build eight hydropower plants on the Vjosa River, which is the last wild river in Europe.
