The agency for the legalization of informal properties, ALUIZNI, has
reopened the process of self-declarations for objects built without
permit before 2009. The Director General of ALUIZNI, Artan Lame,
declared that citizens who have not applied for legalizing informal
objects can make an application at the ALUIZNI.
“Those who have applied in 2006, and now their properties have grown from one to three stores, for example, simply have to apply for the additional building and the team will be on terrain”, Lame declared.
When the self-declaration is not judged as urgent, the Director of ALUIZNI says that citizens will have the inspector teams at their properties. As for the 45,000 files opened during the past years, for which citizens have paid bills but no action has been taken, Lame declared that the legalization permit cannot be given.
“We will make the measurements and citizens who have already paid will not pay anything else”, Lame declared.
The Director of Aluizni declared that the payment process has been blocked because citizens are waiting for the approval of the decision of the Council of Ministers, for calculating the property price.
During these four months, the ALUIZNI teams have updated information about 24,000 objects on terrain, and have prepared full documentation for 17,100 of them.
