Socialist Party Parliament Member, Ilir Beqja, and Edmond Haxhinasto
from the Socialist Movement for Integration, have been tasked to create a
detailed working plan of the left government.

In an interview for Top Channel, Beqja says that he is working for planning the full government plan of the first 300 days, such as turning the electoral commitments to concrete steps and finding the necessary financial resources for putting the economic sectors to improve development and employment. These are the sectors that according to Beqja need an emergent intervention.

“Emergency is needed in two aspects. The country needs fiscal and democratic normality. As for the mid-term and long-term sectors, such as production, manifacture, agriculture, tourism and the natural assets, which need a new approach”, Beqja declared.

He rejected all claims that the Socialist Party and Socialist Movement for Integration are not agreeing on tax propositions.

“We have no disagreements on the tax system and we didn’t have even during the electoral campaign, regardless the perception that we had different approach. We and the Socialist Movement for Integration were for a tax level on corporations and progressive taxes on the incomes. The Socialist Movement for Integration has made a proposition for three levels, while our proposition has more levels. But I don’t think that the progressivity level will be a problem”, Beqja underlined.
