Learning Albanian in Greece
08/10/2016 00:00
For Aurela Konduri, every beginning of October is something special. It
is the moment when dozens of children of immigrants gather to the
“Aristotelis” university of Thessaloniki to attend school in Albanian,
and this is one of the best moments for her and her colleagues.
Aurela is one of the teachers who volunteers at the Albanian school, under the care of the “Mother Theresa” association, which has opened doors for these children for 15 years.
Although she lives 70 km away from Thessaloniki, she comes here every Sunday just for the passion to teach these children their mother’s language.
