Businesses that do not declare their employees or that operate with
unregistered activities, will be sentenced to three years in prison. The
government has sent a draft in Parliament which amends the Criminal
Code.

Tax evasion is considered a criminal offense even now, but there is enough space for business owners to make it with a fine.  The new draft adds four more violations that are considered criminal offenses.

The new law gives harsher measures even for businesses that sell oil and gas without quality standards. The sentence mounts up to five years in prison.
