After asking the administrator appointed by the Court for the bankruptcy of Kurum, the Prosecution asked the company to hand over a series of documents regarding their transactions with the “Ikona” company, managed by Lefter Sota, the father of Orest Sota.

Sources said for Top Channel that Kurum and Ikona have had financial relations through banks. Since the witnesses asked at Kurum insist that they had not planned any meeting with Orest Sota, the Prosecution attached the file to the Habilaj case.

The same may be done for the former Interior Minister, Saimir Tahiri, who has been under investigation for corruption and traffic.

Sota declared that he had received 863.000 EUR from his father to pay to Kurum, a version that has been supported by Sota’s father as well.

The Prosecution of Serious Crimes is currently verifying the assets of Sota, after receiving information that one of his apartments were on the same building with former Interior Minister Saimir Tahiri.
