Kumanova destroyed houses will be 100% compensated

The government of Macedonia promised to pay all the damage caused by the
firefight in Kumanova. The teams are evaluating the damage on terrain
and a full compensation has been promised.
The government has seven days to get informed about the situation on terrain. The residents will receive 1600 EUR and will have their rents paid while waiting for the compensation.
“All homes that have been destroyed will be compensated at 100%. They will be built as they were”, declared Ejup Halimi, state secretary at the Macedonian government.
“An emergency headquarters has been created at the Kumanova commune. There are three line where citizens can appear at any time”, added Amir Shabani, member of the evaluation team.
The residents have welcomed the news, although it will not make them forget the horror they experienced during the firefight.
