The incident with the State Graduation and the danger of fictive results
in tests has brought different propositions for changing the way how
students are evaluated and admitted in Universities.

The Rector of the Tirana University, Dhori Kule, asked the students to undergo the high school final exams, but their admission to Universities will be decided only by the latter.

“Each year there have been problems with cheating students, and it is very grave for a country to have a news with arrested teachers. It shows that the problem is not only with the teachers, but also with the system. The university admissions should be made as in every other country. In high schools we must discover the students with special abilities for given professions, but the admissions must be up to the universities”, Kule declared.

Kule added that he asked PM Berisha to intervene for passing the dormitory of the High School of Foreign Languages to the Tirana University. Kule explained that the requests are very big, until the University Campus will be built.

“I have presented this problem to the Prime Minister, after a decision taken by the senate, and I trust that he will decide for the best. That object must go to us, and I believe that this is what will happen”, Kule declared.

Kule made these declarations during a press conference with more than 30 students from the medicine, economic and philology faculties received the right to continue their specialization studies in European countries.
