Kukes, with a new aqueduct and without water
02/07/2013 00:00
3.5 million EUR were used for the construction of the Kukes Aqueduct, but residents still don’t have regular tap water supply.
The company that is building the aqueduct puts the blame on the Nange and Shtiqen villages.
“The measurements of the new Aqueduct are on the final phase. We have only some constructions to do, but people use water for irrigation”, said Sadri Laci.
Kukes is surrounded by water sources, but it is lacking in every family, while half of the town are on welfare and unable to buy bottled water.
