The new Mayor of Kukes, Bashkim Shehu, has sued his predecessor, Hasan Halilaj, over power abuse.
The report came after the Supreme State Audit verified a series of legal violations.
Halilaj has not implemented the procedures for transfering the football club to the shareholding society, leaving more space for abuses and violations, a huge economic damage to the Municipality.
The audit has verified unjustified funding made by the Kukes Municipality for the local football club.
The administration claims that the municipality has used 37.5% of the revenues of 2013 for the Kukes Football Club, and 39% of the revenues in 2014.
