MEP Eduard Kukan, a good connoisseur of the Balkans and former Foreign Minister of Slovakia, declared that Northern Macedonia could receive a date for opening the EU accession negotiations this October, but the chances for Albania are fewer
In an interview for “Slovak Foreign Policy Association”, Kukan said that Albanians cannot reach compromises, and this leaves few realistic chances for Albania to receive a date for the negotiations.
“The Albanians must implement a huge judiciary reform. The opposition has boycotted the Parliament and Albanians cannot find compromises”, Kukan declared.
