1500 new jobs in Durres, is the commitment of two Kruja businessmen who
have updated the Albanian Prime Minister, Edi Rama, with the potentials
for enlarging the manufacturing business, with which they have been
working for years.
A shoe factory in Kruja has employed 700 women. Prime Minister Rama and the Minister of Economic Development, Arben Ahmetaj, expressed the government’s support for the existing and new manufacturing businesses.
Rama declared that the draft law on the manufacturing business is undergoing, and after finalized, it will give a push to such businesses, which are a quicker source of employment.
“We have made an accelerated procedure for all these permits that are related to production and employment. We have contacted with almost everyone from the industry. We have created 42 requests from the industry, and we are about to complete a new package of measures for supporting the manufacturing industry”, Rama declared.
The Prime Minister stayed for a few moments and discussed with the employees.
“With the support of women, it is easier today to progress. Everyone who is based on the power of women is able to progress. That’s why our government has more women than ever”, Rama declared.
The businessmen of this factory updated the Prime Minister with their plan in opening a new factory in Durres. The Prime Minister mentioned another factory which is under construction.
