War crimes accusations have affected even the Parliament Speaker of
Kosovo, Jakup Krasniqi, who was interviewed by the European Union
Mission, EULEX, at the Special Prosecution.
Krasniqi refused to comment for the media after the interview, and his defending lawyer declared that his client has been interviewed as a suspect of the Drenica Group.
The Spokesperson for EULEX, Blerim Krasniqi, declared for Top Channel that the Special Prosecution has no comments regarding this issue.
The Parliament Speaker was Spokesperson for the General Headquarter of the KLA during the war. He will be involved in the case against Sulejman Selimit, Ismet Haxhas, Nexhat Cubrelit and Shefki Ysenit.
The Minister of Integration, Vlora Citaku, declared that the actions of EULEX were tasteless against the former KLA members.
